How important is it that we keep our blood pressure low? It’s imperative when considering it can sometimes mean the difference between life and death. What is considered high blood pressure?
You may have high blood pressure when your reading is 140/90 or higher. The first number is your systolic reading, this means when your heart is actually pumping your blood through your arteries. The second number is your diastolic reading, this is when your heart is resting between beats.
